Stare pripovedi dobijo nove strune: slovenski melos, večglasno petje in ritem za večer, ki se posluša tudi z nogami.

Vraževerje zajema iz domače ljudske dediščine, vendar pesmi niso oblečene v narodno nošo. V njih so kitare, harmonika, večglasno petje in zgodbe, ki bi lahko nastale nekoč ob peči, danes pa stojijo na klubskem odru.

Od leta 2023 so nanizali okoli petdeset koncertov, prvenec Folklorni ritualizem pa je njihovemu prepletu ljudskega izročila, rocka in alternativne glasbe dal jasno podobo. Besedila ostajajo v slovenščini, melodije se rade primejo, refreni pa hitro najdejo še kak glas pod odrom.

V Prulček prinašajo skladbe s prvenca in nekaj novega gradiva. Če so vam blizu stare pripovedi, kadar dobijo današnji ritem, se utegne ta večer lepo zasukati.

Old stories find new strings: Slovenian folk melodies, close harmonies and a rhythm that is as much for the feet as for the ears.

Vraževerje draws from Slovenian folk tradition, but the songs are not dressed up in traditional costume. There are guitars, accordion, close vocal harmonies and stories that might once have been told by the fire, now carried onto a club stage.

Since 2023, the band has played around fifty concerts, while their debut album Folklorni ritualizem gave clear shape to their blend of folk heritage, rock and alternative music. The lyrics stay in Slovene, the melodies are easy to catch, and the choruses tend to find a few extra voices in the room.

At Prulček, they will play songs from the debut album alongside some new material. If old stories still speak to you when they find a present-day rhythm, this one may well be your kind of evening.
