Rene Grajfoner Quintet / Jazz
21. novembra @ 20:00

—————-
Some pieces begin with a melody; others grow out of the time we live in. Rene Grajfoner writes from both: personal experience, a path stretching from Austria to the United States, and the questions raised by today’s world, war and the unrest between people.
His music is rooted in jazz, but gospel, hip-hop, contemporary Christian music and other influences all leave their mark. The musicians themselves come from different countries, cultures and musical backgrounds, so each of them hears the same material from a slightly different angle.
When they play together, those differences are not smoothed out. They listen, respond and shape them into a shared sound.
At Prulček, Grajfoner brings Fellowship — a line-up assembled for this tour and built around his original music.
