NECRØ are coming to Voyager from Lisbon on September 11.
João Vairinhos and Sara Inglês make dark electronic music somewhere between darkwave, industrial and coldwave — heavy synths, melancholic vocals and a live show that feels much darker and rougher than the usual synth-pop formula.
They started playing live in 2023, including Amplifest in Porto and Monitor / Minimal Wave & Post-Punk Rendez-Vous in Leiria. Their debut Death Beats was followed by the album Into Oblivion, released through German darkwave label Cold Transmission.
First time at Voyager. Very curious about this one.
