Na Prulčkov oder se ponovno vrača prekmurski kvartet džeZZva, ki že več kot petnajst let na svojstven način prepleta jazz, etno, rock in svobodnejše improvizacijske tokove.

Njihov izraz izhaja iz ameriške jazz tradicije, ki jo nadgrajujejo z elementi evropske klasične glasbe ter subtilnimi vplivi popularne in ljudske kulture južne Evrope. Zvok kvarteta je senzibilen in hkrati virtuozno prelit – plod dolgoletnega skupnega muziciranja in avtorske vizije, ki ne potrebuje velikih besed.

Tokrat se jim na odru pridružita dva izjemna gosta, zato lahko pričakujemo večer svežih aranžmajev, nepričakovanih glasbenih dialogov in prepoznavne džeZZvine igrivosti.

The Prekmurje quartet džeZZva returns to the Prulček stage. For more than fifteen years they’ve been weaving jazz, ethno, rock and freer improvisational currents into a sound that is entirely their own.

Their sound grows out of the American jazz tradition, which they expand with elements of European classical music and subtle influences from popular and folk cultures of southern Europe. Their expression is both sensitive and virtuoso – the result of years of playing together and an artistic vision that doesn’t need big statements.

This time they’re joined by two remarkable guests, so expect an evening of fresh arrangements, unexpected musical conversations and that unmistakable džeZZva playfulness.
