Dobrodošli v prvem ljubljanskem Hot Clubu! Mesečni cikel, ki ga vsako četrto sredo v mesecu gosti priznani violinist in profesor viole na Konservatoriju Peter Ugrin (Artbeaters), oživlja tradicijo gipsy swinga.

Zasedba ostaja zvesta izvorni manouche estetiki: pričakujte visokoenergijsko akustiko brez bobnov, kjer se virtuozne kitare v nenehnem dialogu prepletajo z violino in kontrabasom. Program: Večer odpira koncertni set, ki mu sledi jam session.

Jam pri nas ni zgolj “dodatek” po koncertu – je jedro večera. Takrat oder zavzamejo novi obrazi, kreativna energija zakroži med prisotnimi, ritem pa postane močnejši in gostejši. To je tisti del večera, ki ga ne moreš ujeti v posnetek; zgoditi se mora v živo, v tem prostoru.

Welcome to Ljubljana’s first Hot Club. A monthly series hosted every fourth Wednesday by acclaimed violinist and Conservatory professor Peter Ugrin (Artbeaters), bringing the tradition of gypsy swing to life.

The ensemble stays true to the original manouche aesthetic: high-energy acoustic music without drums, where virtuosic guitars remain in constant dialogue with violin and double bass. Programme: The evening begins with a concert set, followed by a jam session.

Here, the jam is not an “afterthought” to the concert, it is the core of the night. New musicians step on stage, creative energy starts to circulate, and the rhythm grows denser and more intense. This is the part of the evening that can’t be captured on a recording, it has to happen live, in the room.

For those who want to experience music up close and witness the process of something truly unique taking shape.
