Na Madžarskem jih poznajo že dolgo, zdaj pa prvič stopajo tudi na oder Prulčka. Chameleon Jazz Band je kvartet, kjer glavno vlogo prevzame pozavna – redkost, ki zvoku doda poseben karakter. V resnici pa tu ni solistov – vsak od štirih glasbenikov nosi enako težo (ali lahkotnost 😉 ), zato zasedba diha kot en sam organizem.

Njihova glasba ima jazzovsko srce, a se hrani še z rockom, jazz-rockom, popom in latin vplivi. Namesto dolgih improvizacij stavijo na melodijo – enkrat preprosto in ritmično, drugič široko, skorajda himnično. Setlist je skrbno sestavljen, koncert pa je tok, ki poslušalca nese od prve do zadnje minute.
Prulček bo priča premieri nekaterih novih skladb z njihovega prihajajočega Live albuma, med njimi Lights of San Francisco in Flowing , ki bosta v Ljubljani zazveneli prvič.

In Hungary they’ve been on the scene for years, and now they step onto the Prulček stage for the first time. Chameleon Jazz Band is a quartet where the trombone takes the lead – a rare choice that gives their sound a special character. But in truth there are no soloists here – each of the four musicians carries the same weight (or lightness 😉 ), so the band breathes as one.

Their music has a jazz heart, yet draws on rock, jazz-rock, pop, and Latin influences. Instead of long-winded improvisations, they put melody at the center – sometimes simple and rhythmic, sometimes broad and almost hymn-like. The setlist is carefully composed, the concert a flow that carries the listener from the first to the last minute.

Prulček will also host the premiere of some new pieces from their upcoming Live album, including Lights of San Francisco and Flowing , performed in Ljubljana for the very first time.
