We’re back at K4 for the season opener with our dear friends Sumi and Maša, two warm souls with ever-growing record bags and international admiration.

With a background in long digging sessions and dusty records, Sumi has grown into one of the most trusted hands in the region. A man with a deep connection to Vienna’s underground scene, he is a regular at Munich’s Blitz Club and a key presence at Lighthouse Festival, where we were lucky to witness his 12-hour marathon b2b2b session with Vince and Ogazon at this year’s Poreč edition. Later that month, he closed the dance floor of the legendary Panorama Bar inside Berlin’s Berghain alongside Vince, before delivering the closing set of the Casino stage at Butik Festival in June. And now – it’s time to close the Pool of our favourite basement!

Before he takes over with his pure house selections, the baton of the Pool floor goes to a name we all know – Maša. She walks the world with headphones on and a steady beat in her stride. House-focused but never boxed in, she digs for mysterious sounds floating just beyond the obvious, weaving deep, laid-back “wait-for-it” tracks with full-bodied textures and agitating rhythms. This year, she made us move again on many occasions, such as LuckIsOn, Butik, and Lighthouse Festival, and is about to close out a stellar festival season with a performance at Dimensions Festival in Tisno. It’s been a long time since she played a peak-hours slot in K4, so this one is not to be missed!

Opening duties in the Pool belong to our boss marcmare, who can’t wait to share what he’s been digging up over the summer. Meanwhile, Filip will bring a fresh bag of progressive, trance, house, and techno records to the K4 bar for an extended set, after he turned half of Lisbon’s record shops upside down.

Before we descend into our beloved basement for the first time this season, we gather at Zorica for the warm-up: our very own Dacho, alongside Lyut, a newcomer from the ever-growing Ptuj digging crew.
